The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages

 

There are so many things I could say about this couple, about their day and about their love for each other. I’ll start by saying this. Both Lorie and Josh’s families portray a love that is so deep you can feel it. I felt a personal connection to both families since so many of their family members (including Josh) are police officers like my husband, Ben, is. To me there has always been an unspoken bond among police families. There is a level of integrity and protection that you cannot put into words. During the reception, the couple had a special moment dedicated to the first responders that attended and I was surprised at how many of the guests stood up to take recognition. Josh has this same love and protection for Lorie and it was so evident through the entire day, even how he looked at her.

It was such a special day and I was honored to be apart of it. Lorie and Josh, thank you for letting me capture the love you have for each other and the love you have for your family. Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
