A Diamond Y Ranch Wedding | Fredericksburg, Tx
Carmen and Michael’s wedding at Diamond Y Ranch was the perfect Spring wedding here in Texas. They kept it small, sweet and simple which seemed to fit the happy couple perfectly.
I showed up to Diamond Y Ranch and it was a gorgeous location. The rain had just started to pick up a bit and I had seen the weather warnings all morning. So at the last minute, they made the call to move the ceremony to a covered location. But in true Carmen style, she wasn’t worried about it! I think Carmen was one of the most laid back brides I’ve had! Once we ventured outside in the rain and attempted some portraits, I quickly realized that it wasn’t just Carmen who saw the glass half full, Michael did too. Because of their positive attitudes, their portrait time will be remembered as an adventure instead of a stressful situation!
These two love a good adventure. That seemed to be the theme of their day. Through the ceremony, talking to their friends, the challenge of the rain…. the idea of “adventure” kept coming up in conversation. I don’t think it’s an accident that Carmen and Michael’s wedding day consisted of some challenges and they handled it with such grace and joy. That’s how I know they are going to thrive in marriage.
As of Sunday at 4:30pm, they have begun one of the greatest adventure of their life! I’m so excited for them and for their future!!! The love that they share is so evident and genuine. I can’t WAIT to show you their beautiful wedding day!
